Born in 1989, Keng Chieh-Sheng graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Taipei National University of the Arts and the Graduate Institute of Sculpture, National Taiwan University of Arts. He now lives and works in Banqiao.
The texture of wood dominates Keng’s practice of art. Earlier on, he carved human sculptures to reflect how people survive in a modern society, and he now views medium as objects which connote his understandings of reality, trying to explore the ever-changing relationships between humans and objects.
