Sherry Keene is an American fine art photographer based in Germany, whose work explores the emotional architecture of silence, memory, and light. Trained as a graphic designer with an MFA in new media and decades of experience in visual storytelling, Sherry Keene’s photography fuses technical precision with poetic depth. Her compositions often linger at the threshold—between presence and absence, stillness and movement, the personal and the collective.
Sherry’s work has earned international recognition, including multiple Photographer of the Year awards from Club Noir and UCP, features on the covers of Coral Ave magazine, and curation on 1x and Honorable Mentions in TheRefocus Awards. Her images have been described as cinematic, haunting, and deeply human—inviting the viewer not just to look, but to feel.
Her current body of work focuses on timeless visual meditations that invite reflection on contemporary life. She lives and creates in the Bavarian Alps with her two children and service dog.
