I was born and raised in Szczecin. After passing my high school diploma, I moved to Germany to visit my parents. I had a passion for painting from early childhood, but when I got an invitation to study at the Academy of Fine Arts, my Dad told me that painting would not earn my bread… so I applied for construction and architecture. After a year, I dropped out and took an office job in my Dad’s company. I got married and had a daughter, and when my daughter turned three and went to kindergarten (I got divorced in the meantime), I decided to study at Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main, where I majored in psychoanalysis, philosophy and religious studies (while still working).
At the end of my studies, my brother and I completely took over my Dad’s company. Our brand grew rapidly, and we executed large construction orders. We hired about 80 subcontractors and everything was going well, until we fell victim to scammers who were unable to pay us a large sum of money, admittedly we won in court, but the money was still not recovered
My real dream was to save enough to be able to open an atelier , support the work of talented artists and be able to finally paint and develop as an artist. Unfortunately, after these losses and a lot of stress, raising my daughter all alone, I had a stroke and from that moment my life changed 180 degrees. I got a second chance from life and decided that I wanted to pursue my dreams with persistence, even if I had to eat dry bread. I started painting after a 10-year hiatus, I painted a lot mostly portraits, and soon my first exhibitions started.
