Sinisha S. Kashawelski (b. 1969, Kumanovo, Macedonia) is a painter known for his distinctive blend of symbolism, surrealism, and contemporary figuration. He graduated from the College of Applied Arts and the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje. He is a member of DLUM, the Société des Artistes Français, the Salon d’Automne, the Académie des Arts-Sciences-Lettres (Paris), and Mondial Art Academia.
Kashawelski has exhibited widely across Europe, the USA, and beyond, earning over 30 international awards. Notable among them are Bronze (2012), Silver (2013), and Gold (2014) medals from the Salon des Artistes Français, a Gold Medal from the Salon National des Beaux Arts at the Louvre (2015), the Prix ADAGP (2016), and the Palm Art Award (Germany). In 2018, he was named among the Top 10 Artists of the Year by Circle Foundation (France) and received the Golden Medal of Merit from the Société Académique.
Recent honors include the ARC Salon Purchase Award (USA, 2025), Silver Award at the TARTGET Prize (Madrid, 2025), and Grand Prize for Best Painter of the Year (2024). He also received the Special Artelibre Award at MEAM (Barcelona) and the Special Prize from the MAGMMA Museum (Italy) for international impact.
