I love mountain climbing, and at first I painting pictures of mountains.
I always think about something artwork I will make in future while I climbing.
Climbing mountain make me philosophical thinking and physical strength. When I feel the limit of my physical strength or mental strength in mountain or rock wall, that is good effect for my thinking about art.
After painting for many years, I decided that I wanted to do something more interesting than just
painting mountain pictures, so I studied history of art. After that I started to create works with using miniature dolls. Miniature dolls are mass produced products, it suggest our mass consumption society but so many people are working to make them for their living.
I create works by thinking about people's love, stupidity, individuality, and society.
We create the image of a crowd by lining up a lot of miniature dolls, but for example, when people
see a crowd or see people from the sky, they think of human society, remember people close to them and people they miss, and remember people they haven't seen yet. We believe that it is possible to imagine even the lives of people.
In order to maintain this freedom of imagination, I use inorganic miniature dolls.
