DATE OF BIRTH
Chey Jurado is a movement researcher who began his artistic career in a self-taught way in mid-2005 in dance styles that belong to the HipHop culture (bboying, popping and locking). During the development and learning of these modalities, there are several titles that accredit him as one of the most representative Spanish dancers in the international scene (Four times winner of the Redbull BCone Spain, Best Showcase in Battle Of The Year, I love this dance 2018, Juste Debout experimental winner, Best performance in Open Your Mind, Best performer 22th Mas Danza ...) among others.
Due to his concern, he soon learned about other disciplines of movement art thanks to being part of several companies of contemporary dance, circus and flamenco such as La Veronal, Roberto Olivan, Cía Elias Aguirre, Jordi Vilaseca, Dani Pannulo, Lokomamia, Taiat Dantza, Rojas & Rodriguez, Perfordance...
In 2016, AGUA created and interpreted its first short piece as a soloist, awarded in numerous certificates of urban and contemporary dance. Due to its good reception as a work by different festivals, creative residences, dance critics and audiences, challenges the possibility of immersing itself in new projects such as GOMERA next to Noé chapsal, HITO next to Akira Yoshida and finally RAÍZ its second solo project and still in development in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
