Harsimran Juneja is a self-taught artist who keenly explores the politics of human nature in response to conflicts within societies. His works span across drawing, text and painting and his most commonly used mediums are emulsions, acrylics, oil pastels and oil sticks.
Harsimran received his MA Design Management and Cultures from University of the Arts London (2019). The exposure to galleries and museums in London led him to formalise his practice as an artist and since then has taken a route of self study in Art and Art History.
In July 2021, Harsimran was chosen as an ‘Artist to Watch’ and was interviewed for the ArtConnect Magazine. Additionally, he has also been featured in Boomer Magazine, Boomer Gallery, London (2021) and in Contrarium Magazine, (2021). In 2020, Harsimran participated in his first online group exhibition, Surface The Online Edit, Artbuzz Studios, Delhi. Since then, he’s participated in several online group shows: Group Show, Shrine, New York (2021); The Dreamers, The Holy Art, London (2021); Infinity, The Holy Art, London (2021); When Words Fail, Visionary Art Collective, USA (2021). Harsimran’s works have also been displayed physically at Gallery 78, Hyderabad (2021) and recently, he participated in his first International group show No Dead Artists, Jonathan Ferrara Gallery, New Orleans (2021). Born in 1995, Harsimran works and lives in Ahmedabad, India.
