main (ADPD) from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, and
a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Tsinghua University. She has
worked at Studio Olafur Eliasson and the Harvard University China Art
Lab, among others. Jiang Yutong Studio is dedicated to exploring the
interaction between space and light through diverse forms of art and de
sign. Her personal research focuses on complex geometry, optical material
studies, and interactive installations. Her creative inspiration stems from
a deep understanding of natural phenomena, philosophical reflection, and
human emotions. Specializing in the use of light as a primary medium,
her studio’s works are known for their dynamic lighting effects, often
using refraction, reflection, and diffusion of light to create dreamlike,
ever-changing spaces. Through these flowing light and shadow effects,
audiences can experience the impermanence and beauty of life.”
