Self-taught, I
practice photography since I was 15 years old. I photographed for a long time
in black and white and color film. I presented my prints to many international
competitions where my prints are recognized. I also practiced photography on
set for feature films. About ten years ago I went digital.
My approach is
essentially inspired by minimalists who retain only a sublimated detail or the
essence of a place or object. This abstraction is based on geometric patterns,
repetitions of shapes or complete isolation. The search for simplicity allows
us to question what we photograph, why and what it allows us to express.
"Minimalist
research pushes the photographer to see the world differently, it's pure
photography" (Denis Dubesset).
