Born in 1994 in Mikołów, Poland.
PhD student in Arts at the Pedagogical University in Cracow and Musicology student at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Graduate of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 2019 she received a MA Diploma with distinction in The Painting’s Studio of Andrzej Bednarczyk, annex to diploma in The Audiosphere’s Studio of Marek Chołoniewski at Intermedia Department.
Laureate of Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in Poland (2018/2019) and Jan Matejko’s Scholarship in Fine Arts (2018/2019).
She works with paintings, objects and sound art.
In her art practice she uses term of the area as a defined surface, appointed space of activity. The starting point is a blank sheet of paper – the surface ordered through a grid, a line or separated area.
She introduces issues from the theory of new music into the field of visual arts. Her work is based on practices of contemporary composers, what is the subject of her research and interests. She mainly refers to the processes and methods of composing. She works with concepts of repetition, collage, module, enumeration, combinatorics, dependency, affiliation, relationality.
Interested in convergences in the process of composing music and image. Assuming that visuality is first of all arranging in space, while music – in time – is interested in examples where space directly relates to time and inversely.
