Born in Buenos Aires on April 25th, 1968.
Studied painting with Victor Chab, Ahuva Schlimovich and Ernesto Bertani. Lived in New York City (1988-1994) where she received the Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Communication Design, Minor in Photography (cum laude, 1990). Completed additional courses at Cooper Union and School of Visual Arts, NY (1988-1992).
Parisier experimented with various photographic techniques: Cianotype, Liquid Light and Polaroid Transfers. Intense knowledge in Black and White Darkroom techniques, making photographic work since 1990. She worked as an art director and designer in the US at Martha Stewart Living Magazine and Addison Design Company (1991-1994).
She has been selected earning the following awards: American Institute of Graphic Artists Award (1992) and the International Center of Typography Award (1993).
Parisier has curated the retrospective of Henry Wolf at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires, brought entirely from New York (1995). She has taught as a professor of Design 1 and Workshop 6 at the University of Palermo in Buenos Aires (1996-1998).
She attended the workshop of Fabiana Barreda a contemporary artist (2009/10).
Later she engaged in an individual workshop with the artist Gabriel Valansi (2011).
Traveled to Santa Fe Photographic Workshops in New Mexico, completing “Lighting Portraits on Location” with Alan Thornton and the workshop “Natural Eye” with Eddie Soloway.
She held her first solo exhibition “Rapture” at Galeria Bisagra Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires (2011) with Photos & Video Objects of a poetic statement about Nature. Her second solo exhibition with the project “Days Old” opened in August (2016) at Gallery Rolf Art, Buenos Aires. Among her participation in group exhibitions: Lima PARC (Perú) April 2018 and 2017 in Gallery Rolf Art, Itaú Prize finalist 2018, Awarded “First Photography Prize MACsur Visual Arts” Prize 2018, Arte x Arte Prize (2017) Buenos Aires, ArteBA (2016) Gallery Rolf Art, Buenos Aires; ArteBA (2011), Contemporary Art Gallery Bisagra, Buenos Aires; “Garden of Fictions” Gallery Laura Haber with Fabiana Barreda, Monica Van Asperen and other women photographers (2009); Buenos Aires Photo, Gallery Laura Haber, Palais de Glace, Buenos Aires (2008). Selected artist for the Arte x Arte prize (2017) and Foto em Pauta (2017) Photo Festival in Tiradentes Brasil, where she earned best portfolio award.
Attended several courses at the University Torcuato Di Tella (2011): “The presence of the artist” by Alan Pauls; “History of Exhibitions” by Bruce Altshuler (2014). Parisier became part of the “Friends of the Department of Art of Di Tella”.
She organized a workshop and a conference at the MALBA of the american artist Eddie Soloway along with Central of Projects (2012).
Multidisciplinary artist, she worked as an actress in film, television and theater, studied acting with Julio Chavez and took acting training courses with directors and playwrights Daulte Javier and Alejandro Maci until today.
Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
