Cesare Iezzi (Chieti ,12-03-1958)
His artistic debut took place at the Bottega d'Arte in Chieti in 1976.
In 1981 he held his first solo show in the Malatestiana gallery in Rimini.
In 1996 he was among the founders of the Hyperspatialist Movement, participating in all the Movement's exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
In 2007 he produced the series of works on quantum physics called ''Superstrings'' taken from the book The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene.
In 2010 he moved to Macerata and subsequently to Civitanova Marche.
In 2015 he presented at the Aurum in Pescara a novelty in the field of photographic portraits using digital art for a series on the "visible and the invisible", between matter and inner energy, titled "Photopsyche".
Since 2016 he has transposed the concept of Photopsyche into sculpture, thus creating "Sculptures". He presents three installations at the Made4art Gallery in Milan during the Photofestival.
In 2018 he was among the selected for the Marche Prize in the sculpture section.
During the pandemic he developed the Ambivalence project which he presented in a solo exhibition at the Spazio Bianco gallery in Pescara in August 2021 and subsequently at the Italian Art Touch gallery in Bologna.
In 2022 he gave life to the Anthropocene 2.0 project for a new hybrid sculpture in symbiosis with nature.
In 2022 he is among the finalists for the sculpture of the Arteborgo prize in an exhibition held at the Venanzo Crocetti Museum in Rome. In the same year he was a finalist in the sculpture category of the Amedeo Modigliani Foundation award in Rome.
In December 2022 and 2023 his sculptures were presented at the Malipensa Gallery by La Telaccia in Turin.
DUAL, his latest research is presented with six installations in the solo exhibition at the Palazzina Azzurra in San Benedetto del Tronto-MC, in the months of March and April 2023.
In June 2023 he was among the finalists of the X Biennial of Contemporary Art in Monte Carlo.
In 2024 he is in the exhibition calendar of the Cart (Contemporary ART Documentation Center) of Falconara - AN, where he presents the personal DUAL 3.0 with the development of his research "D.A.J" on the theme of AI. integrating the Photopsyche 3.0 performance.
In 2024 he is among the finalists for sculpture for the Giuliano Nozzoli Artistic Prize., Torre di San Vincenzo – LI -
