Paola
Iacopetti's photographic production begun in 2015.
From
2017 she has realized some personal exhibitions and participated to a
number of collective exhibitions in Pietrasanta, Lucca, Pisa, Milano and
Mantova. She has curated exhibitions by other
artists.
In 2021 she was among the artists included in the catalog by the jury of Combat Prize. In the same year, she obtained a Honorable Mention at PX3 – Prix de la Photographie, Paris, a Honorable Mention at IPA – International Photography Awards, and she was finalist at Tokyo International Foto Awards. In 2022, she has been invited to participate to the Spring Show 2022 of Malerba Foundation for Photography.
Paola Iacopetti’s photographs go beyond visible data – even if still recognisable –, in a research that is aesthetical and spiritual, at the same time. Her gaze explores the intimate of a flower, an artwork, or a landscape, to grasp those shapes, color nuances, suggestions, that resonate in her own intimate: every photographic project is thus the report of a journey in a new territory, in a corner of what she calls “Soul’s Gardens”.
