Born in Bulgaria, Violeta Hristova-Mintcheva joined her first art school at the age of 7. She took part in numerous art competitions in middle and high school and won several awards. Her interest to the human nature led her to study of psychology, philosophy, and art therapy. In her work both as an artist and psychotherapist, Violeta is interested in transformations of states, emotions or views. She is looking for the individuality and uniqueness in every person, object or moment of time. Violeta is striving to find balance and harmony within us as human beings and with the world around us in general. She pays a lot of attention to the contemplation of internal and external changes, to the alternation of the times of the day, the year and eras as well, searching similarities and differences between them. She is also interested in discovering parallels between different types of arts and the art of different eras and cultures as well. In 1996 she moved to Stuttgart, Germany, where she currently resides. Since 2012 she is taking part in Group exhibitions, first in Stuttgart and recently also in Italy, France, Switzerland and Japan. Some of her artworks are in private collections.
