I was born in Cracow but have lived in Poznań almost all life.  I have spent many years trying to find ways to express myself through art. Since 2007 painting has become an integral part of everyday activity. Having visited Australia I became inspired by aboriginal art, to which I refer to by earth colours, circle forms and abstract paths. I made dot paintings, with acrylic paints against black background. I called them AREA, as they reminded me of maps.

In 2016 I felt the need for change. I felt the need to use a wider range of colours. I called the new cycle DNA because its main element became the “tri-ovoid” shape I invented and joined into chains reminiscent of DNA.
