I began my journey into the art world at the age of ten. I spent many years from then on perfecting the art of realism. I worked in pencil, pen and ink and acrylic paint.

i entered into the world of abstract painting about twenty years ago. I took some abstract art classes out of curiosity. From that moment I was hooked. Over the last twenty years I have evolved from novice artist to professional artist. I spend most of my time working. I have tried many styles but always migrate back to my favorite style. The one that I currently exhibit.

i get my inspiration from many different places. Whether it be a place in my head or a place close to my heart. Emotions and thoughts play a big part in the process. Color also plays a part. I usually pick out a combination of colors that complement each other. The end result is an amalgam of all the colors, emotions and other inspirations at produce a pleasing painting.
