Kas Hofman is a product designer specializing in bespoke furniture and decorative objects.
She holds a Master’s degree in Furniture Design (Industrial Design) from the University of Fine Arts in Poznań. She also studied Product Design at the Berlin University of the Arts and Handicraft at the Institute of Art in Denpasar, Bali - experiences that shaped her sensitivity to material, craftsmanship, and cultural context.
With over fourteen years of professional experience in the furniture industry, Kat spent nine years living and working in Indonesia for a company creating high-end furniture and home décor accessories. During that time, she contributed to the development of luxury pieces for international architectural studios, hospitality projects, and retail brands.
She is currently based in Poland, where she founded Kas Hofman Studio - a creative space where experience in luxury design meets a personal, material-driven approach. Working with manufacturers, architectural studios, and private clients, she develops projects from concept through prototyping to production.
Her work balances craftsmanship, emotion, and function, exploring how material and form can create atmosphere and meaning. She designs for those who seek more than functionality - creating pieces defined by character, authenticity, and timeless form.
