It is said that every high-tech era is followed by a high-touch era and where the pendulum is right now is an interesting question. What I do know is that I have one foot in each camp.
I was educated in that high-touch era before the high-tech era that surrounded me later. For me, creation is strongly rooted in the haptic, the sensual, but also in the optical. My traditional training in art and curiosity about new techniques and innovations puts me in the middle of manual and digital making. I am a representative of the old school but also the new school. Why choose when you can have both!
