I am a fine art major student currently developing Oriental Painting at Suwon University in Korea. I am 27 years old, and I have been painting for over 13 years. I first began my painting career with western painting and eventually progressed my art education in the United States of America, where I had expanded my art knowledge and experience in the western painting. Once I returned to Korea to proceed to University, I desired to challenge myself to try a disparate subject of painting, the Oriental Painting. At Suwon University, I have evolved my proficiency in the field and developed a new aptitude of my own. Because of my experience in both the wester and the oriental painting, I have gained the ability to fuse the aspects of oriental painting and the taste of western painting, forming my unique style of painting that stands out in the conservative norm of oriental painting.
