Hi, I'm Bastilliani.
My work is not just something to look at – it’s something to feel. A journey through emotion and thought, where the familiar is questioned and the unexpected becomes a mirror to the soul. Each piece is a conversation – raw, intimate, and layered with meaning.
What drives me is the beauty of contrast. Bold colors collide with textured depth, clarity blends with abstraction. The result? Compositions that don’t explain – they evoke. Art that resists definition and invites discovery.
I believe creativity lives in all of us – and that art can unlock something deeply personal. My vision is to inspire reflection, awaken curiosity, and encourage people to trust their inner voice.
That’s why I let my work speak for itself. No loud artist persona, no distractions – just the connection between you and what you see.
Because true art doesn’t need to be explained.
It needs to be felt.
Art has always been a part of me. As a child, I could spend hours painting, creating, and shaping—a pure expression of freedom. But as it often happens in life, we sometimes lose touch with what truly fulfills us. Years later, while living in Hawaii, surrounded by the endless ocean and the raw energy of nature, I rediscovered my creativity. I began sketching portraits again—intuitively, simply driven by the deep urge to create what had been lying dormant within me.
But art was never confined to just canvases or paper. During my time as a bartender and chef, I found other ways to express my creativity. I realized that creativity is not bound to one medium—it is an inner drive to bring something to life. Yet, the first time I truly lost myself in my art, when the world around me faded and only the act of creating remained, I knew: This is it. This is my calling.
Since that moment, there is nothing more fulfilling to me than creating art that captivates people. I don’t want them to simply see a painting—I want them to feel it. I want them to pause, to immerse themselves in the stories my works tell, and to sense the deeper meaning behind them. Because art is more than just aesthetics. Art is emotion. Art is reflection. Art is a journey into one’s own soul.
