Maura

Maura is the artistic name of Chelsea Maura de Carvalho Ribeiro Guimaraes, a Luso - Angolan architecture student who is currently living in the United States, while she finishes her Accelerated Masters of Architecture. Maura is not only a student; she is part of a music band: Lenha. She is also an occasional model, does photography and makes art. Writing is a big part of her life – during her teenage years, it was in the theater and in acting that she found her passion for writing and expression. Her family situation pushed her into using art and writing as a form of expression, her most valuable means of communication – between her and the world that surrounded her. The future architect sees herself as a traveler and a dreamer; she loves to tell stories about the crazy life experiences that she lives wherever she goes.
