Gunga Guerra is a self-taught visual artist, graduated in Advertising and Publicity and with MBA in New Digital Media Technologies, worked several years for a television channel with animation, computer graphics and short films. He uses various means of artistic expression such as video, animation, sculpture, drawing and painting. Born in Mozambique and living in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), the artist lives between three imaginary identity frontiers: Mozambique, Portugal and Brazil. His background in life led him to become more interested in political and social issues, aligned with remote memories of his personal history and acquired and lost identities.
