I am Paola Granato, born and raised in a small town in the north of Italy. When I was 4 years old I came out to my mum, expressing that I would study art and become an artist.

Two decades later, after finishing my studies at the European Design Institute of Tornino with an illustration degree, I left my nest, pushed by the curiosity and the necessity of stepping out of my personal and artistic boundaries.

Similar to when you are a child and you don’t mind if you paint out of the lines, I became a nomad of the Medium, focusing on my creative ability and technique that I had developed during my studies and experimenting in diverse forms including: street art, live painting, body painting, performance and sculpture. 

I was drawn to the underground and self managed circuits of the main European capitals, where I participated in local and international projects and was able to collaborate with institutional and private bodies. I had the opportunity to get to know all kinds of artists and realities. 

In the last four years, in collaboration with an APS, I have dedicated myself to organizing workshops and creative paths aimed at a more heterogeneous target than ever.
