I
am a painter and graduated from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2016, where
I received a systematic professional study. Fine Art has always been my passion
since I was a child. My areas of specialty are painting and silkscreening. My
work has been exhibited in China, the United States, and England.
Using
words to express my ideas have never come easily, and I was not good at
speaking in my younger years. As a child, I always created artwork on the wall
because the white wall was so attractive that I wanted to paint on it. Painting
is a tool for me to communicate with others and continues as a way to share my
concept through art.
AAU
is a famous university in San Francisco. The Academy of Art University is highly
regarded because many amazing working artists teach there. AAU is a
practice-based art school, and it believes in a disciplined approach that
encourages students to develop their styles, to blend talent, technical skills,
creative aspirations, and professional knowledge.
My
birthplace is the remote state of Yunnan, China. The city’s name is Xishuangbanna.
This is a city full of the tropical atmosphere. It is far away from the huge urban
agglomeration. The place where I was born has many animals and plants. Compared
with other cities in China, it is very primitive. I am the only child in my
family. My mother used to be a Lab technician, but now she is a businesswoman. My
Father is an orthopedic surgeon, that is why I often paint skeletons.
My
desire is to be a fulltime artist. I wish to convey my ideas and thoughts
through art, and I hope through art to change people's lives. It makes people's
life more colorful, vibrant and brings about social awareness.
