Diletta Gioacchini is an Italian artist born in Florence in 1987.
After her Design studies at the Università di Firenze she starts a professional path, that brings her to New York to pursue her career as a jewelry designer working for some of the most famous brands.
New York is a great generator of inspiration and ideas and through her extensive work in jewelry she finds her unique artistic language: using silver and gold leaf as a nod to her past, mixed together with quick and liquid strokes of tempera and charcoal.
The connection between reality and memory is at the foundation of these art pieces, where new and unexplored dimensions are often created by dreams and memories, unsure if they ever happened.
In her paintings objects are half hidden behind veils, and reality is perceived like in a dream or a vision.
Ten years later she returns to Italy and makes San Gimignano her home and studio. A gorgeous medieval town in the Senese countryside where she draws
continuous inspiration fundamental to her artistic growth.
