Antonella Giardinelli (翟安彤) was born in Milan, Italy in 1971 and studied fashion design at Marcello Dudovich Institute of Milan.She completed a post diploma course at "Accademia Teatro alla Scala", in the theather in Milan in 1991 for costume pattern maker acquiring passion for opera and ballet, she then worked for 2 years at the back stage for assisting the artistic production of the theather.From 1997 to 2007 she lived in the Philippines, Tagaytay City, working at "Bukas Palad" social center ("Open hands" in the local language) contribuiting to develop the livelyhood projects in support of local people. There she developed a little permanent workshop called " Fantasia" producing gift items, handycrafts works….On her way back to her country she discovered the power of oil colours and started to develop this technique.She works predominantly in the medium of painting (oil, acrylic, watercolour) but includes also drawing (graphite and pastel). As a self taught artist she is aware that the skills and techniques needs to be constantly refined and therefore with much still to learn....She lived in Hong Kong, S.A.R (China) and she has joined the team of Pitter Painter as assistant teacher from 2015 to 2019 http://www.pitterpainterhk.comShe now lives in Bangkok, Thailand, being a free-lance art teacher for kids and teens. She holds art workshops and on line classes to promote wellbeing and mindfulness art focusing on the process of creation rather than the final product.

She holds and e-master in Arts Therapies at “Artedo Scuola di Arti Terapie” Italy
