As a visual artist based in New York City with roots in Bucharest, Romania, my artistic journey began in my teens, inspired by my father's teachings on architecture. Drawing from the Bauhaus and Constructivism movements, I explore light, humanity, and identity through the lens of New York City's architecture.
I hold a mechanical engineering degree from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest and an MBA from Baruch College, but my true passions are photography and visual arts.
My work has been featured in international exhibitions, including the Huntington Arts Council (NY) and The CENTER for Contemporary Art in Bedminster, NJ. Notably, my latest project, "New York City New Bauhaus," was showcased at the Chianciano Biennale 2024 in Italy, with a piece permanently housed in the Museo D'Arte Di Chianciano Terme. The Luxembourg Art Prize recognized my artistic achievements in 2023 and 2024.
I look forward to my upcoming residency in Venice in the summer of 2025 and participating in the 62nd Biennial Long Island Artists Exhibition with Recomposition No. 10.
