I live in Queens, New York City, and am a native of Bucharest, Romania. During my teenage years, I developed a refined sense of perspective, balance, and proportion under the mentorship of my father. My interest in physics and geometry led me to pursue a career in engineering, which I have always approached with an analytical eye.
When I arrived in New York City, I was captivated by its iconic architecture and began exploring it through my camera lens. I focused on specific themes, such as the effects of light and the perception of waves, to create a body of work I am proud of.
My artworks have been on display in exhibitions around the world, including the Huntington Arts Council in New York (2020), the LIK Gallery in Vienna, Austria (2021), and the Visual Artists Association in London (2023). My most recent work, "New York City Bauhaus," examines the influence of central European trans-artistic movements on the United States. I am thrilled to announce that my work has been selected for the 2024 International Juried Exhibition at The CENTER for Contemporary Art, which will be held from late January to mid-March. Furthermore, one of my recent works will be displayed at the Atlantic Gallery in Chelsea, New York City, starting in March.
I take great pride in my work and am eager to share it with a global audience.
