I am a French photographer based in Paris. I studied architecture and worked as an architect for a few years prior to dedicating myself to photography. As a professional photographer I mainly work in the fields of architectural photography and portraiture. Beside my commissioned works I develop personal projects related to contemporary social topics such as migration issues and human rights. My photographic work seeks to question the state of the world in which we live by playing with distance and aesthetics to induce empathy. It is affiliated to social photography while seeking to renew the classical approaches of photojournalism, in order to question the place and status of pictures in our society. Through the use of various devices, or by summoning other photographic codes than those traditionally used in documentary photography, my work seeks above all to provoke a pause that leads to reflexion.I find that photography is a medium that connects one another. It brings up specific realities and point of view that enlarge our perception of the world in which we live. Some of my works will or have been selected to be part of several European and international photography exhibitions such as «Festival Circulation 2019» that will take place in Paris next year, «Lens Culture Emerging Talent Award 2018 Exhibition» at the Klompching Gallery in New York, «PHOTO IS:RAEL 2018» in Tel Aviv, or «Boutographies 2018», in Montpellier.
