Lin Gerritse (1988, Netherlands) is a visual artist working primarily with sculpture, followed by installation, drawing, and photography. He holds a BA in Fine Art from Artez Art Academy Arnhem (2013) and an MFA from Sint Lucas Antwerp (2017). His work explores sculptures of human figures where living mushrooms emerge.
He received young talent funding and project-based funding from the Mondriaan Fund. Gerritse has exhibited in institutional and museum contexts including Verbeke Foundation (Belgium), S.M.A.C.K. Museum (Belgium), Het Valkhof Museum (Netherlands), Kunstenlab (Netherlands), and Art Rotterdam (Netherlands).
