Sylvia Gérardin was born in 1978, she lives and works as a painter, sculptor, and architect in Paris.
Very early on, she developed skills for painting, and put on an exhibition at the age of 14. This allowed her to meet local artists. They taught Sylvia and helped to develop her skills and talent.
Studying architecture in Nancy allowed her to explore different fields of creation. In the 5th year, she left for Budapest and stayed there for three years. She wanted to continue a research she had made which was devoted to the rehabilitation of an industrial wasteland, thus a winner of several institutions that support her work.
She uses photography and writing, which she believes reflect the immersion necessary for any architect who wants to propose a project.
Her photographic work has been exhibited in Hungary and France.
Her interest in the different fields of creation and their understanding through experimentation continually enriches her work.
