Hoi Yu Karen Ge is a dedicated illustrator from Hong Kong and Canada, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2021. She was a resident artist for the New York School of Visual Arts “Illustration and Visual Storytelling: Art and Industry” in 2025. With a focus on uplifting narratives and self-discovery, Karen’s works radiate positivity, encouraging viewers to embrace their inner selves with confidence and curiosity. Through digital techniques, varied textures, and bold, flat shapes, she crafts vibrant, saturated worlds that spark joy and introspection. Her distinctive style not only transports viewers to fantastical realms but also fosters a sense of wonder and self expression. Each piece reflects her belief in the power of art to inspire, heal, and connect.
Her works have been recognized by prestigious institutions, including 3x3, Communication Arts, Applied Arts Awards, International Design Awards (IDA), Beijing International Illustration Award (BIBF), London Design Festival x London Art Collective, Hiii Illustration International Competition, H.C. Andersen Awards, CACR Hong Kong Youth Arts Awards, and China Illustration Annual Competition (CIAC).
Karen’s art has been exhibited globally, including at the New York School of Visual Arts, Art Hong Kong 2024, H.C. Andersen Art Awards Exhibition 2024 in Denmark, “ART COLLECTIVE: From the One to the Many” exhibition at Saatchi Gallery (London Design Festival 2024), the 24th Art Expo Beijing, UWEE Louvre International Art Exhibition 2024 “ONE WORLD・ONE FUTURE”, the Shanghai Young Art Fair 2024, the “Symbiosis” Utopia & GSAG Exhibition at Industry City in New York, and Art Capital 2025 in Paris at the Grand Palais.
