BIOGRAPHY
Cintia Gargioni is a Brazilian visual artist whose work stands out for its textile sculpture and for her investigation of colour and transparency. Holder of a PhD in Paediatric Dentistry, the artist navigates between science and art, combining the academic rigour of her original training with a poetic sensibility. Her practice is shaped by consistent research into fabric manipulation techniques, in which the precision of movement is in dialogue with material fluidity.
Currently, Cintia is focused on creating the universe of Flores Imaginárias (Imaginary Flowers), a series of works that explore Brazilian identity through organic shapes and vibrant chromatic compositions.
The artist lives and works in southern Brazil, continuously improving her theoretical knowledge, including Art History studies at São Paulo School of Fine Arts. Her work has been internationally exhibited, with a highlight on her residency at the R.A.R.O. programme in Barcelona (2025).
