Marta Galmozzi (b. 1991, Italy) is an artist living and working in New York. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Accademia G. Carrara di Belle Arti of Bergamo and a Master’s in Photography from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Antwerp. Her work, which explores the boundaries between the real and imagined, has been exhibited at prestigious venues, including the Middelheim Museum in Antwerp. In 2018, Marta was a finalist for the Young Artist Prize. Her practice, which spans photography and sculpture, often features site-specific installations and experiments with the use of images. She investigates themes of time, space, and reality, using photography as a medium to challenge perceptions and create new spatial dimensions.
