Kyoko Fujiwara was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1966. She lives and works in Tokyo, Japan.She studied design and fine art at Tokyo Zokei University in Tokyo. She works on sculptures and installations. The materials are steel and glass. The theme of her artwork are boundary and opposite idea. Also she is interested in collaboration work. She actively collaborates with photographers, contemporary dancers, musicians, and interpreters. She joined in different exhibitions in Residences, Art Festivals, around the world. Solo exhibition at Iwasaki Museum, Yokohama, Japan (2011, 2012, 2014, 2018); CMU Art Center, Chiang Mai, Thailand (2016).
