【The main theme in all my artwork】
I attended an
Ito Jyakuychu Art Exhibition and was deeply impressed by his artwork.
However, I was also very disappointed by the exhibition
because they were selling a subpar Ito Jyakuychu Art Exhibition book. They
failed to include the Japanese hanging scroll artworks for the Art Exhibition
book. The Japanese hanging scroll is also an important part of
the overall color construction in the presentation of his artwork. His paintings harmonize the layout and colors within the
Japanese hanging scrolls. Therefore, it
would be insufficient to represent his artwork without including the Japanese
hanging scrolls. The Japanese hanging
scroll is not just a decorative ornament, but is a significant part of fine
art.
As a result, the core my subject
matter is "The hanging scroll is the ART". That is how and why the
theme of my artwork focused on the Japanese hanging scroll (kakejiku).
