I live in Turin, where I graduated from
the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti with full marks and where I
attended, among others, a photography course hold by Angelo Swartz.
I obtained my artistic high school
diploma in Florence, at the Istituto d'Arte di Porta Romana, then I
attended the D.A.M.S. in University of Bologna, without graduating, but where I
learned the concept, which will become essential for me, of the
Polysemy of the artwork.
In 1994 I took part in the “V ° mostra Umberto Boretti” in Prato. During the years of the Academy I took part in several group
exhibitions:
1998 “Patchwork (1)” in Turin;
“ASP” (Antica Sartoria Pellizzola) in Cento - FE; “ASP” Carlomaria Weber Gallery in Turin.
1999 “Framework” Molinella Gallery
in Faenza; “Defilé Demodé” Supermarket Club in Turin; “Arte in Market” Ipercoop in Ciriè
- TO.
2000 "Patchwork (3)" in Turin, and I was selected for “BIG
Torino 2000” Spazio Off, young designers section.
In the following years I became
interested in the Performing Theater, collaborating in various shows, with the company "Stalker
Teatro" of Turin, participating in all editions of "MetropolitanArt", in two editions of the show "Alter"
and in other shows with companies from Florence ( Deposito dei
Segni and Versilia Dance).
Very recently I have taken an interest
in art photography, exactly in “off camera” photography. This technique is particularly similar
to me because it allows to create images that are not defined, but
that leave space for personal interpretation, based on the experience of the observer, thus
changing their meaning for everyone. They thus become intimate images that come into contact with the
observer in an exclusive way.
