My
work tells about apparent balances: each image becomes a space
suspended in time in front of which to dwell, to find one's own inner
calm or to recognize its fragility.
The
surface is interrupted by matter that breaks in with its
three-dimensionality. The movement that generates refers to embryonic
cellular forms in development, something uncontrolled and
uncontrollable that finds a point of fracture to break without
control. The image represented freezes this impulse at the instant in
which it happens leaving the viewer suspended in the uncertainty of
its evolution. It is an oxymoron of quiet and tension that coexist in
the same place.
The
research of materials refers to bodily and terrestrial scenarios
where nature is overwhelmed by artifice and vice versa.
The
inanimate matter becomes 'living matter' and contains in itself
potential infinite metamorphoses. Each image is the externalization
of intimate suggestions told with a polymaterial language.
