Haley Fonfa is a 25-year-old artist and curator native to Las Vegas, NV now residing in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Currently, Fonfa is working as a mural painter and decorator at Insomniac Events as well as producing self-curated art exhibitions that serve as fundraisers for the 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization Fonfa founded this past year.
As an artist, Fonfa has found the freedom and voice she never knew existed. Devoting her life to art post adolescence, it has completely become her passion since 2015, defining the person she is today. As the world and all beings are ever-evolving, Fonfa's art continues to evolve, connecting the world around and within. Using vibrant animated colors, unique brush strokes and a variety of types of paint, she depicts what she feels interconnects us all eternally: hope, freedom, love, death, loneliness, fear, identity, amongst many other themes.
In the past few years, Fonfa has lost both her older brother Brett and father, two of her biggest supporters and inspirations who truly sparked her desire to be an artist. Continuously inspired by them, the miraculous changes these sudden traumas have shined on Fonfa has changed her approach to art and life forever.
In addition to her own artistic career, since 2018, Fonfa has made it her mission to provide a platform for marginalized artists, while giving back and creating a community. As of July 21, 2022, Fonfa has officially created her own 501(c)3 non profit arts organization entitled The Brett Fonfa Foundation (BFF), in honor of her late brother. The organization mission is to offer and expand the education and accessibility of the arts by providing resources, programs and opportunities to artists of all ages further enriching communities across the world.
