Florence Sartori was born in Paris, and was connected to the Art world at a very young age, thanks to an artistic environment and way of life. Following her studies as a musician at the National Superior Conservatory of Music in Paris, she then worked with interdisciplinary Artists, such as musicians, dancers, sculptors, painters, comedians. From the fusion of all these artistic worlds gravitating around Creation came the desire to work the material and to build up a new way of expression through sculpture. Very inspired by the body in Dance, Florence Sartori initiated a research project and a work about the dynamics of the feminine body in movement in different sculpture workshops with, as basise, the dancers’ observation that she has been leading ever since. To the work of Terracotta will be added the molten material work that is to say Bronze. Florence Sartori cultivates the concept of the original piece inherent in terracotta, which is why her bronzes are often unique pieces in various sizes. Her work is regularly exhibited in various galleries in France (Paris, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille) and Europe, but also in Italy (Firenze) and in the United Kingdom (London).
