Originally trained in law in Budapest, she later studied photography at Arts University Bournemouth (UK) before establishing an international photography practice between London and Berlin.
Drawing on recurring nightmares from childhood, AKF812 creates large-scale allegorical works in which mythological symbolism, grotesque historical imagery, and contemporary technologies collide. Through a process combining large-scale digital collage, custom programming, and extensive manual refinement, her work examines how algorithms, machine logic, and systems of power reshape identity, beauty ideals, collective memory, and our understanding of reality.
She has exhibited internationally for over two decades, with recent work shown at the BBA Art Award 10th Anniversary Exhibition, Berlin, where she was shortlisted among the final 20 artists for the Made in Berlin Prize. Previous exhibitions include the National Portrait Gallery, London (John Kobal Photographic Portrait Award); Centro per l'Arte Contemporanea Luigi Pecci, Prato; MEO Contemporary Art Collection, Budapest (solo); Institut Hongrois de Paris in collaboration with Paris Photo; Kieselbach Gallery, Budapest; and Frauenmuseum Wiesbaden. She is the recipient of a Silver Epica Award, is included in The Thames & Hudson Dictionary of Photography, and has taught photography at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Budapest, and Miami Ad School Berlin.
