AboutMariana Fantich (Ukraine) and Dominic Young (UK) are London based artists who have been collaborating as Fantich & Young since 2008. Their work investigates themes of competition, hierarchy, winners and losers, invaders and the invaders, persecutors and the persecuted and the grey areas in between. Their work address parallels between social evolution and evolution in the natural world: Nature as a model or nature as a threat. Their work encompasses a conceptual and aesthetical approach to the sculptural juxtaposition of symbolic ready-made materials.
