My approach to painting is more from the eyes of a musician than a real painter.
By bridging the gap between these two disciplines, I am able to express my sensitivity to what could be seen to resemble a ‘score’ of colours.
It turned out that while I was playing music, I was already painting, without actually realising it.
Part of my university studies involved researching the role of chaos in artistic compositions. This notion was naturally incorporated into the way I work and became a veritable instrument of creation.
In this way, what I aim to project on canvas, is what will become a first random draft. This will later be reorganised so as to create a pictorial universe where subjectivity and unpredictable elements cohabitate, thus forming the language that brings it to life.
