What i am doing now is often depicting nostalgia in a post-consumerist way. I am very interested in nostalgia and what it means for me not to be able to go back to a faraway time where everything seemed brighter, softer. 

In my work in often proceed from a place i have been to, whereas it be emotionally or physicaly. My inspiration comes partly from those social context, for example hunting, consuming, breeding, fighting. My inspiration also comes from religion which made a big part of my upbringing. 

Together with that i am as well using references from agriculture and countryside, where living creatures and nature are being controlled by men, which i feel is tiding a link with my background.

Furthermore I am taking inspiration from the Scene de genre of previous centuries but translated to our period, using symbols of previously named concept, because they are taking oneself to not only their meaning, but an image of themselves.
