Painting has always been one of my childhood favourites. I studied watercolour painting with a Russian master.
After moving to Romania, besides business, I attended the University of Fine Arts Bucharest. In my last year of university, I had a bad accident, which required leaving arts for years until I could move my hand and start painting again!
As years passed, living in Romania and Iran, I decided to continue arts. This time, besides painting, I attended sculpture courses, interior design, resin, textures, molding, and patina. They all guided me to a different path where I began falling in love with a distinct kind of art.
A somewhat masculine art; working with metal. And that is when I began working with scrap metal.
Seeing the heaviest metals melting under my soft feminine hands and how I can form them into what I visualize always feels distinct.
The warm and pleasant relationship I created with cold scrap metal led me to add bronze sculptures to my portfolio of passions. And it was all going back to my roots, realizing how much my father and I had in common.
