Boris Eschwey (*1979 in Heidelberg, Germany) is a photographer based in Stuttgart.
With a background in psychology and media design, he worked for many years as a cameraman around the globe before shifting to photography as an autodidact. His long-term project “The analog STREETMEET” explores the human condition in urban environments through a documentary and participatory approach. Eschwey spends a full day walking with individuals through their city – from sunrise to sunset – capturing their perspectives through analog photography and recorded conversations. Each Streetmeet reflects a unique personality and contributes to a growing global archive of human experiences and urban soul. At its core, the project is about open dialogue, shared time, and the act of seeing and listening as forms of connection. His vision is to create a globally connected expression, visualized through an art collection. Where people become part of art.
