Read MoreEric grew up in Taiwan. Aspired to become an artist, he diligently absorbed the principles and techniques of classical music composing and visual art creation in his youth. However, due to the economic circumstance, he did not get to become a professional artist until decades later. In 2007, he quit his job as an IT group head from Wall Street so he could create art full time to fulfill his childhood dream of producing quality artwork that touch people’s heart.
Ever since, his artworks have been exhibited in National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taiwan, Queens Museum & Flushing Town Hall Gallery in New York, and New Britain Museum of American Arts, Mattatuck Museum, Westport Arts Center, Silvermine Guild Gallery, New Canaan Arts Center, Ridgefield Guild Gallery, Beechwood Arts, Fairfield Library, Weston Library, and Farmington Library in Connecticut, as well as many local venues and communities in Connecticut and New York. In September 2016, he was given Citation from New York State Assembly for his outstanding artwork about humanity.
In addition to creating arts that explore the meaning of existence, showing his empathy of panhuman desperation, love, connections, and hope, he is very active in organizations that connect individual artists and connect artists and communities.
