I am a young
architect and an innate photographer.
I cultivate this passion away from
formalities, in search of the meaning of a sight: mine.
Over time
photography became my leverage for personal growth. Sooner I have struggled to find
my own language to express the inner dimension.
In 2014 I have
started to deconstruct images and called this experimentation "Landscape
identities".
From 2014 to 2018 I have exhibited in art fairs, galleries, and independent
spaces, obtaining prizes and critics recognition.
In late 2018 I
came back to my innate attitude
Between 2018 and
2021 I have collected more than 10,000 photographs of everything.
I have begun to look at all of them, seeking to climb back to the origin.
I have realized
that I precisely remember about every and each single image. I discovered these
had become part of me, somehow, a sediment of the experience, stratified over
time. From here, the idea of overlay tens, hundreds of shots into a single
image: a palimpsest that hosts various times and spaces. I called this new
experimentation “atmospheres.”
In front of these
palimpsests, the observer reconstructs a meaning against the unknown, through
himself. The results are surprising.
In 2022
"atmospheres" becomes a personal exhibition, in a place of the
spirit, the former. Dominican convent that today hosts the San Domenico
Theatre, in Crema. An opportunity to explore the spiritual dimension through places,
music, meditation, and wine. With the hope to offer a glimpse of this enchanting
condition of the spirit.
