My work as a ceramicist explores clay and porcelain, which I shape to
bring into a unique universe where each sculptural object
becomes one of a kind.
I also aim to shift the way ceramic art is perceived by
exploring the many forms it can take: as a sculptural object
or a wall-mounted piece. Hung on the wall, ceramic becomes
a canvas or a sheet, blurring the boundaries between
painting, drawing, and sculpture, and opening up a new
dialogue with the viewer.
I enjoy pushing the limits of this material—and my own—by
exploring its contrasts: the softness and fluidity of
porcelain meet the raw, rugged texture of chamotte
stoneware. This opposition deeply nourishes my creations.
Writing lies at the heart of my process. I engrave words onto
my pieces like messages or prayers, inviting reflection or
simply evoking emotion. I seek to merge aesthetics and
poetry, while encouraging contemplation on time, emotions,
our own fragility, and that of the world around us.
Inspired by nature, a trip, everyday objects, or even a dream,
my practice is guided by a constant quest: to elevate clay
and reveal its full richness, while embracing sensitivity,
imperfection, and emotion.
