Artist from the Paris area, Elliott Causse, graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts in Paris in 2017, is also a videographer and director for NanoVille productions he created with his brother. He studies the movement in various spheres - from physical journeys in subways to information flow in social medias. In the interlacing of connections, lights, colors and energies, he reveals the complexity of the "flows" of our time. Both urban and digital, routes followed by train lines, pedestrians or data that run for miles in cables, are transcribed in an elaborate graphic and plastic language.Elliott Causse puts them out, in turn, through frescoes, canvases mixing paintings and projections and immersive installations, sometimes interactive.Often compared to practices of other artists, he plays into confronting his vision, to create collaborative works and bring nuance. With Elliott Causse, a personal exhibition is thus very quickly transformed into a collective work where each piece is conceived with a collaborator whether he is a musician, painter, sculptor, designer or graphic artist.Elliott Causses' "flow mapping" talks about a society in perpetual evolution, which continues to accelerate without interruption and whose links and exchanges multiply and become more complex at a speed that we have never known.
