Elisabeth Perlini
Visual artist
Affiliated with the Swiss Institute for Art Research (SIK-ISEA)-Switzerland
Member of Visarte-Geneva
Over the passing years, I have wished to convey with my work the universe that inhabits me through references to mythology, symbolism, luxury, and time.
Inventing and staging different worlds through transformation, diversion and manipulation are at the very heart of my artistic endeavours.
I stage timeless objects that my imagination then transforms and regenerates over time resulting in an expression closest to my core self.
As a graduate of the “Ecole supérieure des beaux-arts de Genève” (ESAV) in 1996, Elisabeth Perlini’s creations are multiple: paintings, sculptures, installations.
Elisabeth Perlini was born in Paris and settled in Geneva in the 1980s; she is also studied contemporary dance and jazz, both in Paris, France and Berkeley (California, USA).
Elisabeth devotes most of her time to her research and production. She regularly exhibits and creates installations and events in urban spaces, often in collaboration with the general public.
